Dairy/Feedlot - Winter Mineralization/Water Movement Study

The three-year study has been developed to attempt to answer the questions of over-winter transformation occur in fields treated with fall application of manure which would make nitrate become available for leaching, and is enough rainfall received during the over-winter period to cause a loss of nutrients from the predicted root zone of specific crops.  Final report due:  Summer, 2002.
