Biennial Well Sampling

 

One of the largest mass well-sampling events ever conducted in Washington State, began in the fall of 1998 with the sampling of nearly 600 privately-owned wells in areas of Adams, Franklin and Grant Counties for nitrate concentrations.  The sampling event continues on a two-year sampling cycle as GWMA's commitment to monitoring nitrate levels in the Columbia Basin.
